Social determinants that threaten neighborly relations in light of social changes/ Field study

Abstract

This study seeks to clarify neighborhood relations and the social variables that have affected them. These are traditional relationships that represent the Arab heritage, and the Islamic religion has also been raised on these relationships. We notice through this study how the variables have negatively affected social relations and that people have become less inclined to spontaneous relationships. Most people have turned to relationships of interest and benefit, and individualism has overwhelmed them. Individuals have begun to interpret all the talk between them and their emotions on a personal level and not spontaneously. Over the years, these relationships have merged in old and modern neighborhoods, and people living in cities for years do not know each other, and there is nothing between them except peace and returning the greeting. Visits between them have become limited to official occasions and sharing condolences. We also notice that globalization, the spread of technology, and wide knowledge have changed the orientations of individuals, as thinking has become purely practical, so that individuals, especially the new generation, have become thinking practically and economically, a relationship that does not bring unnecessary benefit.
