Plagiarism Screening Policy

All manuscripts submitted to the Wasit Journal for Human Sciences will be screened by the editor using Turnitin prior to peer review. Any manuscript containing plagiarized content will not be accepted. If Turnitin reports more than 20% similarity, the manuscript will be returned to the author for revision to reduce the similarity to an acceptable level.
The journal considers plagiarism not only in text but also in ideas, data, figures, and graphics.
If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the journal may issue a correction or retraction and notify the authors’ institutions as well as indexing services if required.
By submitting a manuscript, authors agree to comply with this policy and confirm that their work is original, properly cited, and free from misconduct.
