This is a case study that examines how the Deaf and Speech-Impaired, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is used to facilitate English language learning. It is known that because of hearing loss, deaf and hard-of-hearing people struggle to learn English. This study aims to investigate the efficacy of utilizing AI tools to enhance and strengthen their reading and writing skills in English language. The study also explores the perceptions of D/HH students and their educators in implementing AI in their learning, identifying both positive and negative aspects to this method within their individualized setting. I will employ a combination of interviews, observations and document reviews to provide a look into how AI is implemented and its effectiveness as well as perspectives on the benefits and drawbacks. This research will provide evaluation evidence for teachers, policymakers, and tech developers to design better inclusive English learning spaces for D/HH people.
