The relationship between Sensitivity to social rejection to emotional communication among middle school students.

The current research aims to identify:
1- The level of sensitivity to social rejection among middle school students.
2- Differences in the correlation of sensitivity to social rejection according to the variables of gender (males, females) and specialization (scientific, literary).
3- The level of emotional communication among middle school students.
4- Differences in the relational relationship and emotional communication according to the variables of gender (males, females) and specialization (scientific, literary).
5- The statistically significant correlation between social rejection sensitivity and emotional communication among middle school students.
To achieve the objectives of the current research, the researcher followed the descriptive approach, as the sample size for the current research was chosen, using the stratified random method with a proportional distribution, as the sample size for the current research reached (400) male and female middle school students. The researcher adopted tools to measure the research variables, as he adopted a scale Social Rejection Sensitivity Jack, et.al (2022) and building an emotional communication scale according to scientific steps, and after verifying the validity of the scales’ items, they were applied to the target sample by extracting the psychometric properties of the scales and analyzing their items statistically, using a set of statistical methods, namely the t-test for one sample and the t-test. For two independent samples, the Pearson correlation coefficient and Cronbach's alpha coefficient were analyzed statistically using the SPSS statistical package.
He reached the following results:
1- Middle school students are sensitive to social rejection.
2- Middle school students enjoy emotional communication.
3- There is an inverse correlation between sensitivity to social rejection and emotional communication among middle school students.
4- There is no difference in the correlation between the research variables (sensitivity to social rejection and emotional communication) according to the variables of gender (males, females) and specialization (scientific, literary).
