Spatial Analysis of the Spatial Pattern of Living Standards of the Population of Duhok City Based on Per Capita Income and Infrastructure Indicators, 2024

The study aims to identify the spatial disparities among the neighborhoods of Dohuk City based on a composite index of per capita income and infrastructure for the year 2024. The study adopted a descriptive-analytical approach, relying on questionnaire data in addition to official statistical data. The selected indicators included per capita income, access to clean drinking water, wastewater drainage network, and electricity network. A composite living standards index was constructed by assigning relative weights to these indicators according to their relative importance, after which the overall score for each neighborhood was calculated. The results were then classified into three spatial levels: high, medium, and low living standards. The findings revealed clear spatial disparities in living standards among the neighborhoods of Dohuk City.
