This research explores the philosophical foundations of governance and political justice in the thought of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib, seeking to elucidate the constitutional principles he established in his administration of the state. The research emphasizes that justice in Ali's thought is not merely a legal procedure, but an existential goal intrinsically linked to human dignity and natural rights. The study examines the Imam's covenant to Malik al-Ashtar as a comprehensive legal document that predates modern political thought in regulating the relationship between authority and society.
