The effect of Anticipation Guide strategy on the acquisition of linguistic concepts among second-grade intermediate students and their academic engagement

The research aims to identify the impact of the persuasive evidence strategy on the acquisition of linguistic concepts and academic engagement among the second intermediate grade students. To achieve this, the researchers used an experimental design with partial control and randomly selected a sample of female students from the A section to represent the experimental group taught according to the strategy of the presented guide.Division (B) represented the control group taught in the traditional way. The number of students was (60) students, with (30) students in each group. The two groups were rewarded for the variables: age, intelligence, and academic engagement. The two researchesr prepared the two search tools for the acquisition of concepts and the scale of Lam et al. (for measuring academic engagement), and the validity and reliability of the two tools were verified. The two researchers used the (T-test) to process the data, and the results showed the superiority of the experimental group that was studied according to the persuasive evidence strategy in acquiring concepts.
