The Effect of Using Educational Chatbots on Acquiring Concepts in General Psychology Among Students of the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences

The research aimed to identify the effect of using educational chatbots on acquiring concepts in the subject of General Psychology among students of the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences. The researcher employed a two-group post-test experimental design. Classroom (A) was selected to represent the experimental group, while classroom (B) represented the control group, which studied using the traditional method.
The research sample consisted of (64) male and female students, with (32) students in the experimental group and (32) students in the control group. The two groups were matched in variables including age calculated in months and intelligence. The researcher developed a test for acquiring concepts in General Psychology and verified its psychometric properties.
For statistical analysis, the researcher used the t-test. The findings revealed the superiority of the experimental group, which studied using educational chatbots, in acquiring concepts related to the subject of General Psychology.
