This study aims to analyze the spatial impact of oil industries on soil pollution in Al-Dora, Baghdad, using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and statistical methods. The study adopts a spatial analytical approach supported by quantitative analysis, applying techniques such as Buffer Analysis, Hot Spot Analysis, and spatial interpolation. The results reveal that soil pollution follows non-random spatial patterns, with higher concentrations near oil industry locations. A statistically significant inverse relationship was found between distance from pollution sources and contamination levels, confirming the influence of spatial factors on pollutant distribution. The findings contribute to environmental decision-making by identifying high-risk areas and highlight the importance of spatial analysis in environmental management and sustainable development.
