Developmental Changes in Digital Wisdom Among Students

The aim of this research was to identify the level of digital wisdom among students and to examine the significance of differences in this construct according to age (16, 18, 20, and 22 years) and gender (male and female), as well as to determine which groups demonstrate higher levels of digital wisdom.
The study adopted the descriptive developmental approach. The population consisted of secondary school students in the center of Kut city and students of Imam Al-Kadhim University (peace be upon him) for the academic year 2024–2025. The sample included (400) male and female students, with (200) secondary school students aged (16–18) years and (200) university students aged (20–22) years, distributed across both genders.
To achieve the objectives of the study, Spence’s (2009) Digital Wisdom Scale in its modified form was adopted. The scale consists of (40) items distributed across three dimensions: cognitive, ethical, and good life dimensions. A five-point Likert scale was used (1–5), with total scores ranging from
