The contemporary media sector is undergoing rapid transformations driven by the development of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, which have become a central engine of digital transformation, particularly in television production. Intelligent algorithms and advanced data analytics have reshaped content production and management, making AI a strategic element that enhances planning, operational efficiency, and decision-making within media institutions. Despite growing international interest, studies remain limited in addressing its organizational and managerial implications comprehensively.
This study analyzes AI’s role in advancing television production and examines its impact on organizational structures, professional roles, and work patterns. Using a descriptive-survey approach, it reviews professional and organizational practices. Findings indicate that integrating these technologies significantly improves and accelerates production efficiency, supports data-driven management, requires advanced digital skills, and presents professional challenges that demand effective coordination between intelligent systems and editorial processes
