This study establishes conjunction as a fundamental tool for textual cohesion within the women’s narratives of the Holy Qur’an, providing a detailed analysis of its four primary types: additive, adversative, causal, and temporal. It aims to clarify how these linguistic units interweave to construct a unified and lucid discourse, bridging the gap between traditional grammar and modern semantic analysis. The findings demonstrate that conjunctions do not merely link sentences; they connect them within logical and contextual frameworks, ensuring a smooth sequence of events and clarity of meaning, while preserving the cohesion of the Qur’anic text. Furthermore, the study highlights a significant resonance between the ideas of classical Arab grammarians and contemporary discourse analysis. This synergy underscores the precision of the linguistic structure and the role of conjunction in creating a cohesive and meaningful text.
