The humanist movement represent an important role in paving the way for the emergence of the free religious reform movement during the sixteenth century AD in order to call for the awakening of reason and the elimination of the theological ideas that dominated European society and which in turn undermined the progress of science, The humanist movement focused on reviving the Greek and Roman heritage and contributed to enhancing the status of human and in turn paved the way for intellectual and scientific development in spreading modern sciences and Liberateing the mind from stagnation,In addition to addressing the cultural ideas that prevailed in Europe, it also explored the relationship between humanism and religious reform in the development of the modern mind witnessed during the European Renaissance, when man moved from the dominance of scholastic thought to an interest in nature,The Renaissance was a transitional intellectual stage in the path to scientific progress in Europe.
