Given the importance of transport in cities, which representing the key element in the interconnection and reaction of uses in the city, as well as increasing of cars numbers and their direct effect on the process of air pollution caused by car exhausts, a field survey was conducted for Kut city and measured the levels of gases that come out from these exhausts.the study addressed the concepts Environmental pollution and and paid attention for studying the types of air pollution and gases emitted from car exhausts,. the study also revealed the volume of gas pollutants emitted from exhausts and showed the damage caused by exhausts to human health and the study showed the reasons why exhausts are a major source of pollution
