The Nature of the Transparency Society and the Dissolution of Privacy:A Contemporary Study of Selected Philosophers

This study philosophically explores the notion of personal information transparency in the context of Internet applications, where individuals are compelled to disclose data to access services. The research highlights the tension between digital protocols that demand disclosure and the individual’s right to preserve certain aspects of privacy. Achieving balance is essential for safeguarding a private sphere that protects against modern disorders such as depression, borderline personality disorder, and chronic fatigue syndrome, increasingly prevalent in the twenty-first century.
The problem centers on social networking platforms, which construct a public sphere that appears transparent yet operates coercively. Individuals, under subtle pressure, disclose personal details, photographs, and diaries, thereby exposing themselves to exploitation. Such practices erode the boundaries of privacy and weaken the individual’s autonomy
