The Relationship Between Narcissistic Personality and Childhood Trauma Among Middle School Students

This study aims to explore the relationship between narcissistic personality traits and childhood trauma among second-year middleschool students, considering childhood trauma as a predictive indicator of narcissism. The research sample included 200 male and female students from schools in Anbar Fallujah Education Department governorate. The researcher utilized the safa (2009) narcissistic personality scale consisting of 25 items, along with a 25-item childhood trauma scale developed by the researcher.
The findings revealed a strong correlation between childhood trauma and narcissistic personality traits within the study sample. Additionally, statistically significant differences were observed in narcissistic traits based on gender in favor of males, while differences in childhood trauma were more prevalent among females.
