تتناول هذه الورقة البحثية دراسةً للاستعارة المفاهيمية المتعلقة بالملائكة والشيطان في ثلاثة كتب مقدسة كبرى للأديان التوحيدية، هي: القرآن الكريم، والكتاب المقدس، والتناخ. وتنطلق الدراسة من نظرية الاستعارة المفاهيمية، ونظرية الاستعارة المقصودة، متبعةً منهجاً منظماً في تحديد التراكيب الاستعارية المرتبطة بالملائكة والشيطان في هذه النصوص الثلاثة وتصنيفها ومقارنتها، وذلك باعتماد المنهج اللساني المدوَّني. وعلى الرغم من أن القراءة السطحية قد تُغري بافتراض تقارب هذه النصوص المقدسة نظراً لاشتراكها في الأصول الإبراهيمية، فإن القراءة المقارنة المتأنية تكشف عن تباين ملحوظ في الاستعارات المفاهيمية من حيث المجالات المصدرية. وهذه الفوارق لا تقتصر على البُعد اللغوي، بل تعكس اختلافات جوهرية في رؤى كلامية كونية، وتصورات أنثروبولوجية، وتصورات مغايرة لطبيعة العلاقة بين الإله والإنسان. وتنتمي هذه الدراسة إلى الحقل المعرفي التكاملي الجامع بين اللسانيات المعرفية، والدراسات الدينية المقارنة، وتحليل الخطاب القائم.
