تقدير الذات وتوجهات أهداف الإنجاز وتعلّم اللغة لدى متعلمي اللغة الإنجليزية كلغة أجنبية في العراق: دراسة ارتباطية

تُعدّ الأبعاد الوجدانية والدافعية من أقوى المحددات لمستوى التحصيل في سياقات تعليم اللغة الإنجليزية كلغة أجنبية، غير أن دراستها المتكاملة ضمن سياقات بعينها لا تزال محدودة. تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن طبيعة العلاقات التبادلية بين تقدير الذات وتوجهات أهداف الإنجاز بأنواعها الثلاثة—الإتقان والأداء والتجنب—ومستوى التحصيل اللغوي لدى عينة مؤلفة من 125 متعلماً عراقياً للغة الإنجليزية كلغة أجنبية، ملتحقين بمعاهد لغوية في مدن عراقية متعددة. استندت الدراسة إلى الإطار النظري المتكامل الذي تشكّل من نظرية أهداف الإنجاز، ونظرية تقرير المصير، ونظرية قيمة الذات، واعتمدت تصميماً كمياً ارتباطياً مقطعياً. قِيس تقدير الذات بـاستبيان تقدير الذات لسورنسن (2005)، وقِيست توجهات الأهداف بمقياس توجهات أهداف الإنجاز لميدجلي وآخرين (1998)، فيما جُسِّد التحصيل اللغوي من خلال المعدل التراكمي للمتعلمين في مقررات اللغة الإنجليزية.
كشفت نتائج معامل ارتباط بيرسون عن ارتباطات موجبة قوية ودالة إحصائياً بين أهداف الإتقان وتقدير الذات (ر = .63، د < .01)، وبين أهداف الأداء وتقدير الذات (ر = .51، د < .01)، وبين تقدير الذات والتحصيل اللغوي (ر = .68، د < .01). في المقابل، ارتبطت أهداف التجنب ارتباطاً سلبياً دالاً بتقدير الذات (ر = −.42) وبالتحصيل اللغوي (ر = −.54). وتُشكّل هذه الارتباطات جميعها أحجام تأثير كبيرة وفق معايير كوهن (1988).
تؤكد هذه النتائج التكامل الوظيفي للمتغيرات الوجدانية والدافعية في عملية تعلم اللغة الإنجليزية كلغة أجنبية، وتُوسّع نطاق تطبيق نظرية توجهات الأهداف لتشمل السياق العراقي الذي ظل غائباً عن الأدبيات البحثية. كما تحمل النتائج دلالات تطبيقية مباشرة تتعلق بتصميم بيئات التعلم الداعمة دافعياً، وصياغة ممارسات التقييم، وبرامج التطوير المهني للمعلمين، لا سيما في السياقات التعليمية التي تعاني من تداعيات مرحلة ما بعد النزاع.
