في الآونة الأخيرة، تحول الحجاب من كونه مجرد مسألة دينية ليصبح احد المواضيع الأكثر إثارة للجدل في المجتمعات الغربية. وكان تأثير هذه الخلافات يبعث في الأذهان الخوف والرعب والإكراه للإسلام. ولهذا, تحاول الدراسة الحالية دراسة التحليلات النصية والأيديولوجية للخطابات السياسية حول الحجاب. ولذلك تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى استكشاف الملامح النصية للحجاب في الخطابات السياسية من خلال دراسة القوة و الأيديولوجيات الموجودة في الخطابات السياسية. ولذلك، تستخدم الدراسة التحليل النقدي للخطاب لدراسة تمثيل الحجاب المحيط بالخطابات السياسية من خلال اعتماد انموذج فيركلاف ثلاثي الأبعاد (1989, 2001).و تستخدم الباحثة أسلوب البحث النوعي لفحص ووصف بحثها. يكشف البحث اللغوي لهذه الدراسة أن السياسيين يستخدمون تعبيرات مختلفة؛ وذلك لإظهار المعتقدات الشخصية والعداوة والكراهية للتعبير عن رسائلهم وأيديولوجياتهم الخفية باستخدام ضمائر ومفردات معينة. ويستنتج أيضًا إلى أن السياسيين يستخدمون كلمات سلبية مختلفة،وايضا الغة رسمية وغير الرسمية. أما بالنسبة للتحليل الأيديولوجي، فإن الأيديولوجية تقوم على توضيح وجهات نظر علمانية وتقتصر على المواقف السياسية.
